Hi, Yogis! This is Yue, and I have a question for you: Why are you practicing yoga? Everyone’s answer can be different, and each of us walks a unique path in discovering yoga. Mine began with a simple reason two years ago: to alleviate back pain. But over time, yoga has become so much more — it’s now a way of living, a practice that reaches beyond the mat into a spiritual journey and every aspect of life. These classes will go beyond the physical flow of movement, incorporating the other great essences of yoga, such as meditation, breathing practices, yogic philosophy, and meaningful interactions with fellow practitioners. I don’t see myself as a teacher, but rather as a facilitator, who hosts a supportive space for you to learn, experience, heal, share, and inspire each other. And yes, you’ll often hear classical music playing in the background. Outside the studio, I’m a university professor, a father, an entrepreneur, and a lover of growing plants and cooking meals. Please feel free to stay after the class to chat. Remember, when we arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.
